When I tap my card it just shows a reference number?

Your card has already been activated! Simply log into your Adapt ID account, then go to the ‘cards’ tab to edit your card.

Can’t remember your account details? This is likely the email address you used when you purchased the card. You can also change your password by using the ‘forgotten password’ function on the login page.

My Card does not work?

It may be that you are not holding the card in the correct place for your model of phone. Depending on the model, the NFC reader can be in different locations. Almost all phones made in 2015 onwards have NFC background reading capabilities. It is important that you know where it is to get the best use out of your card! For iPhones, the reader is at the top of the phone near the camera, and for Android  is generally in the middle/top on the back of the phone. Place and hold your card against the reader for a few seconds. A pop-up will appear; click on this to view your contactless business card information!

You may have begun setting up the card details when you purchased your card. Log in to the account you created when you purchased the card. If you are having trouble loggin in to this, you can use the 'forgotten my password' function on the login page to reset your password. Failing this, please contact our support team and we will get you logged back in!

How do I find my card ID number?

In most cases, your card ID number will be printed on the reverse of your card. It will be in the bottom right-hand corner, in very small writing!

If you have bespoke artwrok printed on the reverse, this may not be the case. Alternatively you can find the card ID number listed in your account, or when you tap or scan the card with your phone, the ID number will be in the web address.

How do I activate the Branding Package I have purchased?

When you purchase a branding package from us, we will automatially assign all of your new cards to it.

Your cards will appear in your account already assigned to your company 'listing'.

As standard, we will set up the package using the artwork and colours from your website, but if you would like this changing, please send accross any alternative artwrok/colours that you would like us to use.


We aim to complete this before dispatching your cards, however this is not always possible. If your set-up is urgent, please let our support team know!

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a Royal Mail tracking code. Royal Mail will update this in due course- it may take a little while to update!
All of our orders are posted First Class and Signed For with Royal Mail, and are generally posted within one business day of your artwork being approved for print.

Can I have a link to my brochure?

What are your delivery times?

We normally ship within 24 hours of receipt of order, payment and artwork. If your order is urgent and requires a guaranteed delivery service, please contact our support team prior to placing an order.

Do you replace faulty cards?

Yes, absolutley! Although it does not happen very often...

All of our cards are tested before leaving the studio. We are yet to have a card retured due to a faulty NFC chip.

What are bamboo cards and how are they made?

Demand for these cards has grown stronger each year, I suppose it's our ultimate Eco-Friendly option!


Great for the environment and goes some way to your companies Green and sustainability credentials.


*NOTE* Being an organic product Bamboo does have it's caveats, they are quite susceptable to cracking and breakages! Although you can get them wet, they would not take kindly to continued soaking.


The print quality in full colour print will still highlight the woods natural grain and small chips can be expected with prolonged use.

What format should the artwork be in?

If you are just supplying a logo, we can generally make use of any file, however an SVG file is ideal! If you would like to supply edge-to-edge artwork for the card, please supply a PDF file, size 87 x 56mm, no crop, no bleed.

The size for our contactless tags is 36 x 36mm.

Can I bulk upload information?

Yes!

If you have purchased a number of cards from us, it may be easier to upload the all the information in one go, rather than to each card indivudually....

What is printed on the reverse of the card?

A standard card will have a QR code printed on the reverse, with our Adapt ID branding. It will also have the ID number of the card printed in the bottom right hand corner.

If you would like to have your own artwork printed, please choose the 'reverse print' option at checkout.

What is PLA?

PLA stands for Polylactic Acid, and is a bioplastic made from plant-based sources. Unlike PVC, it is made form renewable sources such as corn starch, sugarcane or sugar beet.

They look and feel almost exactly the same as our PVC cards, with the added bonus of them being degradable! They are still fully waterproof, durable and scratch-resistant.

Go to your account and select the card you would like to edit.

Under the 'edit image' tab, you will be able to upload a profile picture. 

The recommended format for this is a JPEG file, in a square size. 36 x 36mm is a size that works well!

How does the other person receive my info?

When they tap their phone on the business card, they will be directed to a landing page. From here they can save your details in a number of ways...

To download your details as a contact- click the 'Download Contact' button, and they will be able to save you as a contact in their phone.

By clicking the social media buttons, they will be directed to your social media pages (within the app, if you have it) where they can click the follow button!

Do I need an app?

Nope!

Neither person needs an app to share or receive your contact information. All they need to do is tap their phone on your card!

What can I have printed on my card?

Our Pre-Printed cards are supplied with a name on a plain coloured background. Once you have placed an order, our team will contact you to confirm which name you would like printing.

With our Bespoke business cards, you can have whatever artwork you like printed edge to edge, and full colour! Please send over your logo or PDF artwork and we will ensure it is suitable for printing.

Are there any future charges once I have purchased a card or tag?

No, your account will have access to the free Adapt ID online portal to allow you to update your cards and tags quickly and easily in the future. Our standard cards have a set number of links that you can add to them; one link for each of your social media accounts, as well as a website link.
